Thank you for your kind thoughts Sheila Smile ; much appreciated. I had intended posting something but have been really unwell since the weekend and finding it hard to sit and type for very long. Seem to be stiffening up so quickly these days and in a lot of pain. Some might say I've, typically, overdone things but I think the withdrawal of Enbrel probably accounts for at least some of it.

So, today is the day ... passed the tests (apart from blood pressure Scared ) so I win a day's stay at the hospital and prescription for Rituximab! Along with that I am entitled to paracetomol, anti-histamine, steroids and saline! What a package eh? Aren't I the lucky one?! No lunch though Smile

Will start a blog once I'm through today's proceedings!

Thanks again,

Lyn x

Hello Lynn

Thinking of you today. I really hope things go well for you. BigGrin

We are just 2 wks difference in timings. I had my second yesterday. Like you yes I also
won the same stay in Hospital for the day. I got a sandwich and chicken soup both
times though. Plenty tea or coffee if wanted as well.

I hope you don't get too many side effects.

Rose x x

Thank you everyone for your very kind thoughts. It was lovely to read through all your good wishes BigGrin

After a bad 15 months of uncontrolled disease, prolonged neutropenia, unsuccessful knee surgery and the need to remain on a high long term dose of prednisolone to keep symptoms a little at bay I went into this fearing further let downs. Very sceptical about depleting B-cells right left and centre Unsure , but heyho today went very well and once again my positivity is returning ThumpUp Have done a blog, "A step in the dark ... a walk in the park!

Thanks again everyone Smile

I'm only just catching up with the posts on infusions. So glad it went well and I hope that light at the end of the tunnel is nearly with you.
